In 2015, I became a Master Reiki Practioner. Reiki intentionally focuses healing energy through the practioner’s hands, using intuitive meditation and knowledge of the body’s healing centers or chakras. Reiki sessions provide a sense of well being for both the client and the practitioner because the focus is on bringing restorative healing energy through one to the other. The body is always in the process of healing. It is natural for us to help healing along. When a child bumps his elbow, the first thing he does is cover the sore spot with his hand. This natural impulse brings attention to a need to ease the pain. The creative source responds with healing energy.
Reiki is a Japanese term that refers to Universal Life Force, it is a traditional form of energy healing which originated in Japan in the late 1800’s. It is not a religion, it is a science of intentional energy healing that can be used by people of any belief.
As an artist, I practice meditation and intuitive skills to connect to the creative source of inspiration. This same energy, referred to in Reiki as the Universal Life Force and another term I like, benevolent energy, is focused on holistic (whole body) healing. The intention of the Reiki sessions is to restore a sense of well being, relaxation, balance and good health with long lasting effect.
Sessions are one hour long. Contact through this site for appointment or more information on Reiki.
